UIC Student Action members gather in the UIC quad to rally against the IPAC bill, a bill that would make higher education funding based off performance. This method of funding is seen in Chicago Public Schools and is regressive and racist. Instead, Student Action members advocate for a House Bill 4030, a bill that would make higher education free for all through a progressive a taxing system and the closing of corporate loopholes in the state of Illinois. Students inform other students about IPAC and the importance of supporting HB 4030.
