May Day

May 1, 2018

Chicago union members, labor rights activists and other community organizers gather for the annual May Day at the Haymarket Statue. As activists speak, they envision a future that works for all workers on a global scale and where the top 1% doesn't own the majority of the wealth. From the Haymarket Statue, protesters march to the Thompson Center where Union members and organizers speak. And from there, the crowds march to ICE on Congress to stand in solidarity with the 11 million undocumented immigrants in the US and stand up to our unjust policing and immigration system.
